One of the things I was most excited about when switching back to my iPhone was getting back all the apps that I was missing out with my Android. One being the Lululemon Om Finder-an app that gives me the schedules to all the yoga studios in my area.
I’m a sucker for apps that help make healthy living a little easier. I have my Garmin Connect Apps that track my workouts, MyFitnessPal for keeping track of food, and a water app that reminds me to hydrate throughout the day. When I was given the opportunity to review an app as part of my Sweat Pink ambassadorship, I was excited.
The Fitness Games is a fun app that combines all of my favorite things: Fun, Fitness & Social Media! TFG app turns fitness into a fun little game allowing you to challenge your friends, strangers or even yourself to workouts, racking up points for each challenge that you win. Along with challenges, you can also post “selfies”, pics from your workout or videos.

Here are some Pros & Cons that I found while using the app the past few weeks.
-Allows you to challenge friends and help keep each other accountable
-Gives you the option to create your own workout and challenge someone to complete it
-Keeps working out fun and exciting
-Some workouts can be done at home, no gym equipment needed!
-Newsfeed gives you an update as to what other workouts your friends have completed
-Each exercise had a description along with a picture/video demoing the move just in case I was unsure on what to do
-The workouts were also very effective. My abs and butt still hurt today (in a good way) from a workout that I did in the beginning of the week.
-I completed three challenges against other people and they were not accepted, so I have no proof that I did the workout.
-When I tried to log mileage under the cardio portion, it never loaded. It just kept spinning and spinning. Must’ve been a glitch in the app.
-While I was doing one challenge, I put my phone back into sleep mode and the timer paused. In order to keep the timer going, your phone must be on at all times, using up battery life.
Overall, I thought the app was fun and put a new spin on staying motivated. A lot of the workouts involve gym equipment, so this app is perfect to take along with you to the gym when you’re unsure of what to do after your run on the treadmill 🙂 If you’re looking to change up your current gym routine or looking for fitness on the go, I recommend checking out The Fitness Games.
